Mincha during Avelut (mourning)
This page describes the Mincha service during Avelut, the week of mourning.
If Mincha is followed directly by Arvit, the boxed part at the end is omitted and said (only once) after Arvit.
On a תענית ציבור (public fast) Parasa (Tora reading) is added after אשרי and Selichot after the Amida, but without techinot. See the Ta’anit book for this.
Chazzan
doesn’t wear a tallit.

This grayed area is only said if Micha is not immediately followed by Arvit. All avelim, including ladies, come forward. Recited, unless the deceased has a title, then it is sung. Thiduk hadin is also said on days without תחינות, even on Friday afternoon. |
