Minchah during Avelut (mourning)
This page describes the Minchah service during Avelut, the week of mourning.
If Minchah is followed directly by Arvit, the boxed part at the end is omitted and said (only once) after Arvit.
On a תענית ציבור (public fast) Parashah (Torah reading) is added after אשרי and Selichot after the Amidah, but without Techinot. See the Taanit book for this.
Chazzan doesn’t wear a Tallit.
All are standing during Kaddish.

Without Chazara. The Chazzan starts aloud till מחיה המתים, then קדושה. From אתה חונן silently till חננו ועננו. From there aloud till the end. (Even) on a public fast theברכת כהנים is not read. After המברך את עמו ישראל בשלום the Kahal says אמן slowly, to finish together with the Chazzan.
