The Chumash is the normal Koren Chumash, but the division intro Parashiot (portions) is changed to match our traditional division, according to Piza. The Shabbat prayers are according to the Amsterdam Sephardi Nusach (rites).

Piza chumash

This Chumash, including the Haftarot by Yehuda Piza, printed in Amsterdam by Gerard Johan Janson in 1769 by, is our “golden standard” regarding Nikud (punctuation), Neginot (cantillation) and division of Parshiot (portions). There are very few sets of the Piza Chumash around today. Hebrew only.

The quality of this Chumash is well known. Rabbi Dr. Dov Bear wrote in his preface of to תקון הסופר והקורא Rodelheim 1886,החומש ההוא אשר ר”י פיזא יעדו לעזרת הסופר ואשר ר”וו היידנהיים שב להדפיסו… נקי הוא מפסולת הטעיות
“That Chumash, printed by rabbi Piza … and reprinted by rabbi Heidenheim (1818), is clean from errors”.
The layout of the book is very special. It is printed such that a Sofeer can use it to write a Sepher Torah with 42 lines per column, each column staring with the letter “Wav”. The printed book has 21 lines on each page, the right side of the page has the first 21 lines of the column, the facing left side has the 21 bottom lines.

Piza Chumash online
For the 250th anniversary of the Piza Chumash in 2019, the Jewish Historical Museum has offered us a full scan, which can be downloaded. Unfortunately this copy has a binding error in Bershit. The correct order (scan page numbers, L=left, R-right) is: 1-8R, 9L, 10R, 8L, 9R, 11L, 12R, 10L, 11R, 12L, 13R, 13L, 14 etc.
