Pregãos – announcements can be made (172L):

During Shacharit: after Kaddish Titkabal. On Days of Torah Reading: before Hanotin. |

Between Minchah and Arvit (JBS: together): between the two prayers before Utshu’at.
In the Omer (JBS: Minchah and Arvit separately) during Minchah after Kaddish Titkabal and during Arvit before the start, on which the verse Utshu’at is repeated by the Chazzan. |

During Arvit: between the Kaddish and the Amidah and after the Tefillah. |
The numbers in brackets refer to the page in Seder Hazzanut Brandon where this Pregão is mentioned. E.g. (174L) refers to page 174, left column.
The pregãos regarding Tefillah starting times are mostly left out. They can be made at the various points and are only done if the time is not fixed e.g. Minchah Friday (178R) or deviates from the standard time e.g. on Purim (203R). Example: “Minchah se rezará esta tarde a xxx hora”, where xxx is can be found elsewhere on this site [0].
Since the 1980’s, the pregãos are said in Portuguese and repeated in Dutch, English and Hebrew. JSB made list of translations of the most impotent pregãos without English and phonetic Hebrew. JBS made a new version solving these shortcomings.
