Music collection Chazzan Nunes Nabarro
Chazzan Nunes Nabarro (NN) collected sheet music he needed for various services. His son David (DNN) provided a copy of his collection which I bring on this page. Where available I add recordings.
This is thus basically the repertoire used after the war.
Mind there is of course an overlap with the Ets Haim collection, as that is where he took what was available, but as can be seen below, he also added some melodies he didnt find there.
Some scans are single pages, some are taken from the same book and some are multiple pages in a singe scan. Some are copies of books and some are from manuscripts.
The names of the scans were given by me. PM-HK stands for PieMentel Hans Krieg. DP-HK stands for Dr. Pereira – Hans Krieg. DU-NN stands for Duque – Nunes Nabarro. NNx stand for all other Nabarro sheet music. Notes (in brackets) are added by me.
Px is the starting page number (where applicable)
Recordings by NN, SRP, DIR, AAV, EA & DIR (dir is from DIR collection, but actual singer is unknown). Mind that most recordings were made by non professional Chazzanim and thus are not 100% according to the sheet music.
