Arvit for conclusion Yom Tov and Shabbat Medianos

This page describes the Arvit service of the conclusion of the 2nd and 8th day of Pesach, the 2nd day Shavuot 2nd day Sukkot, Simchat Torah and Shabbat Medianos (Chol Hamoed)

General remark: even if not stated explicitly, this page is about the evening the Shabbat or Yom Tov ends, so it is always the start of a working day.

All are standing during Kaddish.
Avelim (mourners) do not say Kaddish during Medianos. Only Arvit conclusion of the 8th day Pesach, the 2nd day Shavuot and Simchat Torah Kaddish is said by Avelim, as then the festivals are over.

Chazzan without  tallit.

Recordings: AAV & JBS (NN4b is missing); part from NN tape 2a

Grayed areas indicate parts which are added on specific days. Follow hyperlinks for recordings.

[2] Havdalah in Snoge was only made on the conclusion of Shabbat Medianos, not of Yom Tov. It can therefore not be found in Seder Hazzanut or the Moadim. On conclusion of Yom Tov only the pregão (see last line table) was made, as written in the the Moadim (page 79): “במוצאי י”ט מבדילין על הכוס בביתם
