Limud for Chuppah

It is our custom to make a Limud in the evening before the Chupah in honors of the Chatan.

The general structure is followed. The table shows the specific texts, based on a list and various booklets.

Some parts are sung when used

	Shira (שמות ט”ו)
	Psalm 29, psalm 67 various melodies for psalms 117-118 and psalm 128

Some examples of the special Nevi’im melody: Melachim 1-6 11 Jeshaya 40, Jirmiya 2

Nevi’im during Limud are read with a special melody: example, list of neginot with basic musical notation by BC.

At the end we sing the special Piyut for the Chatan (groom) פיוט לחתן. Downloadable pdf text and recording.
